about
Sometimes it takes a lot of courage, and many voices, to speak up and to stand for kindness, respect and dignity.

lyrics
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful butterfly named Valina.
She was green and blue and yellow, and her colors shimmered everywhere she flew, especially in the sunlight.
She loved the flowers and the bees and her butterfly friends, and even the puppy dogs, who she would tease and play with by flying just above their noses when they would chase her.
The problem was Valina's school master.
For some reason, he never liked her. Some say he even hated her.
He would always look at her disapprovingly (when he looked at all), and her answers in class were never good enough, even if they were right.
He seemed to pick on her a lot and even sent her to the principal’s office if she fidgeted in her seat for too many seconds.
Valina never understood why Mr. DoFinger didn’t like her.
